AQUARIUS™ O-3 ATU

The Aquarius™ O-3 Alternative Treatment Unit (ATU) is a completely new type of sewerage treatment using Ozone, chemical formula O3 and is a Health Department of Western Australia approved, 10 person equivalent system for use with domestic homes. The system can be easily upgraded for use with commercial sites.

• Low maintenance, only 2 service calls per annum

• Ozone is 3,000 times more effective than chlorine.
• The by-product of Ozone is oxygen
• The only parts visible above ground level are the 600mm lids and the Control box

AQUARIUS™ DOMESTIC GREYWATER SYSTEM

All greywater from bathrooms, spas and laundries is collected in a small HDWA approved polyethylene tank outside the house. The tank contains a high quality stainless steel pump which is float activated. When the float rises the greywater is pumped to a 25mm header pipe and then into a subsurface dripper system which feeds the roots of the plants. Two filters and a large flushing valve keep the system clean of debris. The system has an Australian Standard main electrical control box with audible and visual alarms plus a 100mm check valve to prevent the backflow of sewerage into the tank. As an optional extra the system can be fitted with a timer that discharges the greywater once every 24 hours.

Where are Aquarius™ Units used?

The Aquarius™ O-3 ATU can be used anywhere you are allowed to build and reticulated sewerage is not available. They replace the outdated septic systems that present a serious environmental threat.

The Aquarius™ ATU is WWT’s “pollution solution”, turning your contaminated effluent into fully treated water for subsurface dripper irrigation.

The Aquarius™ Greywater Units can be used anywhere where large quantities of useable greywater is wasted down the drain..
