Drilling bores

Bore drillers are highly skilled people in great demand all over WA. Their equipment is physically large, and expensive. A bore drilling team usually comprises a minimum of two vehicles and two people.

So, getting a driller to come to the Bridgetown area is not easy. The Right Stuff maintains a register of people who want to have a bore drilled on their property. Twice a year (usually) we schedule with the driller to come to the Bridgetown area and drill several bores. We can do this because we can offer the driller enough work to make the journey worthwhile.

All payments and agreements are between the client and the driller.

If you are interested in having a bore put down on your property, or in having an existing bore cleaned out, come in and see us. We'll add your details to the register and notify you when the driller is scheduled to come.

If you want a bore but are unsure if there is water on your property we can also refer you to diviners in the area.

August 2007 Update

George the driller came to Bridgetown in July to drill bores for 7 customers. By early August he had drilled at least 15 bores in the area and will probably have to leave some others until next season/year. The results have been good, mostly with reasonable flows (for this area). George has deferred work up north to complete all of the unexpected work in our area, but he will not be able to do that next time.
